Putting My Experience
to Work

Jerome Moore was born and raised in Harris County, Texas. He graduated from Kashmere Senior High School and later went on to attend the University of Houston-Downtown where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Security Management for Executives Degree.

Jerome began his law enforcement career at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office in December of 1998. He left the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office in March of 2000 to join Harris County Constable's Office Precinct 5. After 20 years of dedicated service with Precinct 5, he was appointed Chief Deputy at the Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 2. He then returned to Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 5 in December of 2022, where he currently serves as a lieutenant.

Jerome has several leadership certifications such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Texas Command College, Command Staff Leadership Series, FBI Law Enforcement Executive Develop Association (LEEDA) Supervisor Leadership Institute, FBI LEEDA Command Leadership Institute, FBI LEEDA Executive Leadership Institute, a Graduate of Sam Houston State University Leadership Command College, Texas Police Chiefs Developing Leaders for Texas Law Enforcement, and the Newly Elected Constable certification from Sam Houston State University. He is a Master Peace Officer and a certified Internal Affairs Supervisor/Investigator.

Jerome has supervised several divisions within the Constable’s Office such as Patrol, Communications, Property/Evidence, Motorcycle, K-9, Victim’s Assistance, Warrants, Special Operations, Traffic Enforcement, and the Parks Divisions. He considers his 25 years of service to his community, as a Peace Officer, an honor and a privilege.
